In 2017,China sold more than 28.88 million cars,making it the largest single car market in the world.In order to increase sales,automakers are competing to launch a variety of models to meet the market demand.For component suppliers,vehicle model differences lead to less common parts available between projects.An important task for auto parts companies during project development and procurement is to select parts suppliers for different projects.In order to ensure that the project has the most satisfactory overall results in terms of quality,cost,delivery,and service,it is difficult to meet the needs of different projects according to the traditional selection model that mainly wins with prices,and it is necessary to evaluate the parts suppliers during the development of the project and choose to conduct in-depth studies.This article analyzes the status quo and existing problems of supplier management in F company from the perspective of supplier classification and supplier evaluation and selection.Combining with procurement management theory,it is concluded that the classification of supplier and purchasing materials of F company is too simple and the evaluation method is Single choice system,too much emphasis on price and so on.Then,it proposes that the purchased materials are divided into four major categories: key materials,lever-type materials,bottleneck materials,and normal materials.Establish a new supplier evaluation and selection system through brainstorming and supplier evaluation principles,and divide the F company's supplier evaluation system into two levels.The first level includes technology,quality,cost,delivery and service factors,the second contains 16 secondary factors.And then calculate the weight of each factor via AHP,combined with the evaluation of the supplier's various secondary indicators in the actual project procurement,comprehensively and objectively evaluate and sort the F company's suppliers and finally make a choice.This article take one of kind of new project component as research target.This method is applied to the practice of F company's supplier selection for new automotive fog lamp parts.The new evaluation approachs are used to evaluate and select suppliers,comaring with the past approach.we can conclude that the new method is comprehensive and objective and has strong practicality.Finally,this paper offers some sugestions to improve supplier management,improve supplier management system on the basis of adjusting organizational structure,integrate information management system and improve personnel's professional and technical ability,so as to constantly improve the supplier management level of F company and enhance the competitiveness of supply chain.
