Tujia brocade is a folk arts and crafts art belonging to China's ethnic minorities,which comes from the life culture of the tujia people.Tujia brocade,as the object of production and means of living in the daily life of tujia people,is a traditional handicraft that can best reflect the characteristics of tujia folk culture,among which the most distinctive is the variety of traditional patterns shown above.The Tujia people are full of love and affection for all kinds of things in life.They will transform everything in life into patterns and put them into Tujia brocade,such as animal and plant patterns transformed from nature,from the patterns of life utensils in daily life,the patterns of ancestor worship in order to express the awe of gods and ancestors,all tell people the stories of life,it shows the Tujia people's understanding and expression of living environment and ethnic culture,and the cultural value of which is worth our slow study.Through the on-the-spot investigation and research in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture,as well as the study and exchange with the Tujia brocade inheritors,we understand the development and present situation of Tujia brocade,collect and search the traditional patterns of Tujia brocade image data and literature.First of all,with the analysis of Tujia brocade and the traditional patterns of Tujia brocade as the starting point of study,the investigation and research are carried out from the angle of art,the traditional patterns of Tujia brocade are analyzed from the aspects of historical origin,craft,theme characteristics,pattern composition,decorative color and cultural connotation.Secondly,it focuses on exploring the application of Tujia brocade traditional patterns in casual women's wear,combining the domestic and foreign designers' analysis of brocade pattern elements as a case,and deeply analyzing how to apply Tujia brocade traditional patterns in casual women's wear,with Modern Aesthetic Tujia brocade traditional patterns into casual women's wear applied research,for casual women's wear to provide new ideas and make a summary.Finally,combined with the analysis of the results of the design scheme for garment practice,specifically through the style of casual women's clothing to display,the two integrated,on the one hand to meet the personality of modern aesthetic style,on the other hand,let Tujia brocade coruscate more charming style.
