Study On The Ways Of Inheriting The Brocade Of Tujia Ethnic Group In Xiangxi

Tujia brocade,also called Zealand Karp in Tujia language,has been commonly known as "Dahua bedclothes".Tujia brocade is a traditional national craft that is woven on the ancient diagonal weaving machine by on warp & off weft and reverse weaving.Tujia brocade is an artistic treasure with the national characteristics of Tujia,a star in Chinese folk art,and an intangible cultural heritage that is in urgent need of protection.In this paper,the inheritance group of Tujia brocade is taken as the research object,and the oral history method is mainly used for research.In 2006,Tujia brocade was officially listed as China’s national intangible cultural heritage,and the Tujia brocade has undergone major changes in its inheritance.The traditional family inheritance model has been broken,and diversified inheritance methods have emerged,including traditional family inheritance forms,that is,the emergence of the three categories of the folk inheritance group represented by LIU Dai-e,the academic inheritance group represented by Ye Shuiyun,and the commercial inheritance group represented by Ye Liping.Regarding the folk inheritance group,in this paper,the group is mainly described by the civil transfer school,and the training activities of the Tujia brocade skills are carried out regularly.The academic inheritance group needs to rely on the school platform to pass on the Tujia brocade skills through formal teaching activities,which is relatively a demanding form of inheritance.The commercial inheritance group is gradually taking shape and growing along with the pace of the marketization of Tujia brocade.This inheritance group has passed on the skills of Tujia brocade through commercial training activities,and the distinctive characteristics of the times have become a prominent feature of this inheritance group.With the development of the times,the three inheritance models of Tujia brocade have also become more and more intersecting and interacting.With the involvement of government forces,the academic inheritance group and the folk inheritance group have begun to offer Tujia brocade craft courses for different audiences in different spatial regions.Driven by capital power,more frequent exchanges and cooperation have taken place between the folk inheritance group and the commercial inheritance group.The folk inheritance group has gradually changed to a commercial heritage group under the injection of market capital,which provides material guarantee for the inheritance of Tujia brocade.At the same time,the academic inheritance group makes full use of the school platform and media to promote the Tujia brocade process,and also cultivates more outstanding professionals for the commercialization of Tujia brocade.In the future,the three inheritance models of Tujia brocade will inevitably carry out more and deeper exchanges and cooperation.Only through benign interactions in the pluralistic mode can the ethnic handicrafts of Tujia brocade be truly passed down from generation to generation.
