In recent years,under the support of national cultural policy,there has been a wave of revival of intangible cultural heritage in China,which aims at strengthening people’s attention to traditional culture and excavating the unique charm of our national culture.Tujia brocade as a national intangible cultural heritage,has its unique folk culture,high recognition and rich patterns,and has attracted the attention of people.Through the extraction and re creation of Tujia brocade elements,inject modern design concepts and modern design techniques to blend traditional culture and modern aesthetic taste.With the interpretation of modern people’s traditional culture,it arouses the attention to the traditional handicraft culture.This article focuses on the innovative application of Tujia brocade in hand-made books.Taking Tujia brocade as the main content of creation,we must extract the graphics,colors and materials of Tujia brocade on the premise of in-depth understanding of background knowledge of Tujia brocade.With the proper combination of the creative media with hand-made books,a hand-made book with the unique cultural and artistic charm of the nation is derived.This article will follow the following ideas: first,use the literature review method,collect a lot of information related to the topic selection,and summarize and analyze the purpose and significance of the topic,research status,innovation and the problems to be solved at home and abroad.Then,the related concepts of opponent’s book making are introduced in detail,and the characteristics,forms and future trends of hand made books are summarized by case analysis.Secondly,go deep into the fieldwork of the village of baehe River in the hinterland of Xiangxi,and explore the "inheritor" of Tujia brocade "Liu Daie,the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage".We will have a deep understanding of the historical background,evolution and related knowledge background of Tujia brocade.The technology,materials,patterns and colors of Tujia brocade are emphatically analyzed.In order to explore the combination of the Tujia brocade and hand-made books,this is a combination of the media.Finally,based on the understanding of Tujia brocade and handwritten books,the author thinks about the two similar points in different media,trying to connect them.Using the characteristics of the media of the book itself,we will add the fresh national culture content of Tujia brocade,so that it can transform the artistic expression form from content to form.At the end of the article,the author looks forward to the creation of hand made books in the future of the combination of the future tradition and the modern.
