Study On The Artistic Derivative Design Of Traditional Patterns Of Dong Brocade In Hunan

In the adjacent areas of Hunan,Guizhou and Guangxi,Dong people live in right here.Dong brocade,as an important carrier for dong women to express their wisdom and show their exquisite weaving skills.It carries and performs the traditional culture of dong nationality with long history,profound accumulation,rich connotation and distinct characteristics.The Dong brocade has a variety of patterns and a wide range of subjects,which reflects the simple concept,aesthetic taste and blessing for a better prosperous life of the Dong people.Under the background of intangible cultural heritage protection,this paper takes the artistic derivatives design development of Hunan Dong brocade traditional patterns as the study object,and puts forward the idea of creative economy and the three principles of emphasizing artistry,regionality and functionality to develop and design artistic derivatives,so as to present the rich and colorful aesthetic connotation of Dong brocade to the public to show the display of Dong people’s love,respect and worship for nature;Based on the background of creative economy,the pattern of Dong brocade will be applied to the artistic derivatives,trying to find inspiration for innovation out there;Analyzing,decomposing and simplifying the pattern,making this as a source of cultural derivative design,so as to design the works with national culture characteristic and accords with the modern aesthetic as well.Finally,the purpose of protection and inheritance of Dong brocade and Dong culture will be achieved.
