A Study On Social Service Of Environmental Protection For Social Work Intervention

The 19 th national congress of the communist party of China has made the building of ecological civilization an important part of its report,and Beijing will initially build itself into a world-class,harmonious and livable city by 2035.In the context of social governance and innovation,it has become an inevitable trend to promote the building of ecological civilization and strengthen environmental protection.In order to do a good job in environmental remediation and improve the appearance of public space,community environmental governance has become an important issue.The disposal of household garbage in community has become the most typical problem in community environmental protection and management.In the streets of donghua city,the environmental situation of zhongzhongli community is in urgent need of improvement.Garbage piling often occurs around the garbage cans in the community.In order to improve the environmental situation of zhongzhongli community,the community introduced social organizations to intervene in the environmental situation of the community with the green home construction project.Based on the actual investigation and study of the community,through the analysis of the current situation and problems of environmental protection in zhongzhongli community,it is found that the residents in this community have poor environmental awareness,lack of environmental protection knowledge and poor participation in environmental protection.Aimed at how to improve residents’ environmental awareness,and promote the residents’ environmental protection behavior habits,the introduction of social work perspective,on the basis of the theory of ecological system of social work,through a series of community activities,promote environmental protection involved in concept,to help residents to study environmental protection knowledge,improve the residents’ participation,at the same time,explore the social work involved in the community environmental protection path way and the practical application,and to implement environmental protection,will be loyal in the community as a pilot project to promote in the country.The study found that through the intervention of social work,residents in the community pay more attention to environmental protection,residents’ awareness of environmental protection participation from passive to active,the community environment has improved significantly.However,there are still some problems in the process of social work intervention,such as the incomplete scope of the target group,the poor understanding of the community by social workers,the low utilization rate of resources in the community,and the difficulty in ensuring the sustainability of the project effect.The paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions,such as expanding the coverage of the target group,paying attention to the establishment of professional relations,making full use of the internal and external resources of the community,and enabling social workers to empower the community residents and residents’ committee staff.
