Vocational qualifications play an important role in the orderly flow of labor,employment promotion,and emphasis on skills,training the skilled talents in urgent need of our country and development and stability of the economy and society.Xiamen,is the national food safety demonstration city,has the nearly one thousand key food enterprises.Training the talents of food inspection skills and promoting the professionalization of food inspectors is of practical significance.The data from 2011-2015 years of Food Inspector technicians in Xiamen were analyzed to explore the structural distribution of highly skilled food inspection personnel,to analysis of theoretical knowledge,skills assessment,comprehensive assessment results and the rate of evidence collection,with the trend of gender,age,education,and length of service and the nature of work units.The results are obtained as follows.The age of highly skilled talents in Xiamen food industry is 25-30 years old,showing a younger trend.Among them,women are more than men,and show a trend of gradual growth.The proportion of bachelor’s degree and junior college degree is over 75%,and undergraduate degree is the most.The proportion of highly skilled talents from large and medium-sized enterprises is the highest.The average results of the theoretical knowledge are not affected by the five factors,such as sex,age,educational background,work age and the nature of work units.Over 35 years old,women,higher education level,shorter working age,and small business participants have achieved higher theoretical scores.The average score of skill operation assessment is the highest among the three test modules,and the number of unqualified persons is also very different.Women,under 25 years of age,higher education and longer working age are more likely to get higher grades.In the comprehensive assessment of this module,male examinees have certain advantages and are easy to get high scores.The higher the age,the longer the work time,the higher education,the higher the comprehensive evaluation of the students with a strong comprehensive ability,but it is very difficult to achieve excellent results.From the distribution of the rate of obtaining evidence,in the same year,the rate of obtaining evidence is not very different from the analysis items.The rate of obtaining evidence is higher for female candidates with larger age and longer working years,and the rate of obtaining evidence is the highest among the examinees with high educational background.It will provide better services to promote the training of highly skilled talents in the food industry.It also lays the foundation for improving the qualification appraisal system of food inspection and promoting the professionalization and industrialization of food inspectors.
