China is in great demand of timber and wood products with the timber imports increased year by year.Currently developing a smart woodworking machinery and equipment is a common issue which woodworking machinery industries need to solve.In view of the current domestic woodworking machinery products are difficult to adapt to the development trend of automated assembly line processing so that developing a set of sawn timber separation and palletizing woodworking machinery and equipment to separate wood boards from multi-chip saw in time and detection and stacking efficiently.Also merge with the front processing of sawn timber processing to form a complete production line of sawn timber for China's woodworking machinery enterprises to enhance market competitiveness,as well as to meet the domestic market demand for wood is of great significance.In this paper,the design of sawn timber conveyance,separation and detection and palletizing device is taken as the research subject.The research status of current sawmill palletizer is analyzed,and the research and development of woodworking machinery enterprises is also involved in product development and finally combined with the actual requirements of sawn stacking.Using Creo software and ANSYS software to complete the structural design of the equipment and finish its key components of the static analysis and completed the prototype trial at last.The development of the prototype control system is realized by the single-chip microcomputer as the main control unit,and achieved the cleaning of the sawdust,the detection of the surface color and the detection of the thickness after the separation are carried out.After the preliminary screening of the flawed board and palletizing.After repeated debugging and solved the practical application of the problems.Finally developed a set of prototype machine which could be used to different specifications for the separation of sawn timber and stacking.And the fir wood boards are choosed to separation and palletizing to test the whole performance of the process.The test results further confirmed the effectiveness of the prototype in terms of sawing separation,thickness detection and palletizing.
