Design And Development Of Automatic Packaging And Palletizing System For Cheese Yarn

At present,packing and palletizing of cheeses are done manually in domestic spinning enterprises,and the work is repetitive and heavy.Under the situation of labor shortage in textile industry,replacing manual work with automated machinery for packing and palletizing of cheeses has become the inevitable way to solve the problem.To solve this problem,the paper proposed a new distributed system of packing and palletizing of cheeses.The system was composed of a host computer and several packing and palletizing units,which could realize many capabilities including removing the cheeses from conveyor chain,adjusting the direction of cheeses according to the demand,packing into the plastic bags,taking the woven bag and feeding with cheeses,seaming and tying woven bag and palletizing them in the designated places,etc.This paper described the development process of the system.Firstly,the mechanical parts was physical design according to each link of job demands in cheeses packing and palletizing.Secondly,based on the actual demand of digital input/output control in the design each link of packaging and palletizing system,the PCM-3362 veneer industrial computer was chose as a basis,and the system controller of peripheral applicationstructure was selective designed.Afterwards,the corresponding servo system was designed with the demand of palletizing during taking bag process.Finally,the control system software was design,including the programming of host computer and control system of automatic packing units and automatic palletizing units and storing the cheeses information into database,and the computer operation experiment examination of whole system was completed.The distributed automatic packing and palletizing system was an exploratory attempt across both industries of textile and mechanical automation.At present,the experimental debugging is completed,and the system is ready to launch on the market for further tests.
