The automatic packaging and palletizing production line and intelligent storage system are comprehensive high-tech products that integrate technologies including automation,electronic communication and industrial robot,and their application in traditional industries reflect the industrial automation level.This study was conducted in the upgrade project of the automatic packaging and palletizing production line of the ammonium sulfate of the coking operation department,Shougang Jingtang Iron&Steel Co.,Ltd.This study comprehensively investigated the chemical properties,production output,environment and packaging consumption cost of ammonium sulfate products.Meanwhile,the current development of the packaging and palletizing industry was analyzed.Combining with the problem of insufficient application of equipment,transformation,this study comprehensively considered the actual demand of the ammonium sulfate automatic packaging palletizing production line,systematically planed the production line process,and determined the composition of the automated production line and the functions of each unit.In addition,this study explored the warehouse intelligent storage system and developed an AGV system project based on UWB positioning.The main works in this paper are as follows:(1)The design of the mechanical structure and power system of the production line was accomplished in the paper.For the on-site working conditions,the cantilever beam for bag lift up and the necking structure for material discharge were adopted in the automatic packaging design,and therefore solved the problem that the packaging bag was soft and difficult to be automatically packaged.In this way,dust pollution was alleviated and the packaging costs were reduced.The palletizing design used a pallet bin system to automate the pallet storage,supply and transport,thereby increasing work efficiency and reducing labor costs.Besides,the theoretical calculation for the selection of the power system cylinder and vacuum suction pallet was completed,which provided a basis for equipment selection.(2)The industrial control system based on PLC was designed.The PLC selection was determined from the perspective of functional requirements and economics.The detailed control logic flow was designed according to the production process requirements.The PLC hardware design and software programming were provided.Combined the offline debugging of unit equipment with system joint debugging,the program control logic and the operating parameters were optimized.This work greatly shortened the commissioning time and is of great significance for the stable production of the workshop.(3)According to the operation and maintenance requirements,a human-computer interaction interface based on ethemet communication was designed.The main functions of this system include manual and automatic operation,I/O monitoring,T/C setting,parameter setting,system setting and event query etc..It follows the principles of practicability,friendly interface,convenient user operation and maintenance in the human-machine interface design and thus is convenient to staffs.According to the production demand and the actual working conditions,the objective of the whole system design was to achieve automated production.In application,the production capacity of the automatic production line reaches the design objective of 600 packs per hour,and the production line operator quota is 2 staffs.The whole production line runs smoothly and efficiently,and the equipment maintenance is simple.It has achieved good economic benefits and has good application value in the ammonium sulfate packaging industry.
