| This thesis sorted the conditions of environmental protection business and its competitive strategies.Putting Huaxin Cement Co.,Ltd as the research object,the objective is to develop effective strategies for Huaxin Cement Co.,Ltd to enlarge its environmental protection business under the heavy competition.Firstly,it reviewed the research background of Chinese environmental protection industry and its development status.Combined with environmental protection policies and the law of industry development,it analyzed its macro environment and competitive environment form the point of PEST Model and Porter’s Five Forces Model.Secondly,it looked into the organizational resources,human resources and financial resources of Huaxin and summarized its core competences and competitive advantages.Then,SWOT was utilized to systematically analyze its environmental protection business.Besides,environmental protection business strategy matrix was mentioned to clarify the company’s overall development strategy.Thirdly,it provided design and arrangements,which included organizational structure,customer service,human resources management,to ensure that the competitive strategy can be effectively implemented and further strengthen Huaxin’s competitive advantage.Based on the overall strategic analysis,this thesis argued that the strategy of Huaxin should be a combination of market penetration and horizontal integration.According to Michael Porter’s competitive strategy theory,differentiation strategy is the basic competitive strategy for Huaxin’s environmental protection business.It tried to insight the future development of environmental protection business and provide useful suggestions for its development of environmental protection business. |
