Information transmitter is the role of middle managers playing in the process of organizational change.In order to make the middle managers to play the information transmitter role more better in the organizational change process,this paper committed to take T telecom company as an example and use the questionnaire survey,BEI,statistical analysis methods to build the competency model of middle managers on the role of information transfer in organizational change process.First of all,according to the steps and principles of BEI,the human resources experts and me decide the performance criteria of selecting the excellent group as follows: 1,the work target completion rate above 100% on supporting the new strategic business;2,provides constructive information for developing the new business during the company organizational change;3,never been complained for information transmission problems in the period of organizational change;4,the rate of new strategic business knowledge test score A above 90% in his responsible team;5,the voluntary turnover rate of his responsible team below 5% during organizational change in the company.Secondly,choose 4 excellent performance middle managers to excellent group and 4 ordinary performance middle managers to ordinary group from T company to interview.And then encode the interview record by encoding group separately.After that,compare and analysis the difference of the frequency and level of the appeared competence characteristics between the excellent group and ordinary group.Confirm the competence characteristics by significant difference to become the Competency method of the competency model of middle managers on the role of information transfer in Organizational change process of T telecom company.Thirdly,with the purpose of making the competency model not only applies to T telecom company but also be in common use,the questionnaire which be worked out basis on the competence method of the model be sent to the top and middle managers of T telecom company and to other company as well.After verification by statistical analysis,the competency model of the middle managers on the role of information transfer in organizational change process of T telecom company be built as interpersonal skills,information processing ability,thinking ability,initiative,communication management ability and communication skill.Interpersonal skill is the most important item in the model,weight 19.593%.Finally,to make the model more better apply into the enterprise human resources practical work,this paper use the case from T company to analysis and test base on the model,and gives two suggestions for improving each competency for the model such as 1,training and developing each competency for middle managers based on the model test results;2,make standard for recruiting middle managers from inside or outside based on the competency model.
