ABSTRACT:Middle managers is the anchor in the organization system and is the bridge who connected to senior managers and line managers, They play a key role in connecting. The quality and level of middle managers have a vital role for the smooth and efficient management of the enterprise to achieve the target.This paper combines the latest research results of the management practice scholars and the business community to build a company to build A competency model of middle managers, and applied research. This paper studies the following conclusions:First, it builds the company A competency model of middle managers, and to distinguish the benchmark of competence and the competence to distinguish. Basis of competence include communication skills, project management skills, ability to learn, ability to execute, organizational skills, motivate subordinates, safety awareness, self-discipline, and respect for others. Distinction competence includes four dimensions. They are professional skills, team building, ethics and professionalism. Professional skills include decision-making ability and communication skills. Team building include team leadership, command and coordination, training. Professional conduct include integrity, responsibility, cost consciousness. The spirit of professionalism include the innovative, customer-oriented, global consciousness.
