The competition among modern enterprises is essentially the competition of talents.With the development enterprises have gradually realized the important role of highly professional employees in the success of enterprises.Review of the literature on employee engagement at home and abroad,there are few researches on the influencing factors and countermeasures of employee engagement in Guangzhou,therefore this paper further studies the theoretical and empirical research.In this paper,on the basis of reading a large number of related research literature,domestic and foreign scholars on the concept of employee engagement,dimensions and measurement tools are collated,analyzed and summarized.Then this paper puts forward that the employee engagement has two dimensions of job engagement and organization engagement,and the job engagement including job involvement and job approval.At the same time,the five factors are summarized,which include the nature and characteristics of the job,career development,salary and welfare system,leadership relationship,colleague relationship and organizational climate.On the basis of the literature review,this paper puts forward the research model of employee engagement and establishes the questionnaire of employee engagement.Then carries on the investigation and measurement to the staff of 8 enterprises in Guangzhou.According to the survey data in Guangzhou,the factor analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis,single factor analysis of variance and other methods are used to verify the research model and explore the impact of the five factors and demographic characteristicson employee engagement.Among them,the job engagement factors from high to low as: salary and welfare system,career development,nature and characteristics of the job;the organization engagement factors from high to low as: leadership relationship,career development,colleague relationship and organizational climate.Finally this paper makes a theoretical explanation and countermeasures,puts forward five suggestions for enterprises to improve employee engagement: attach great importance to the career planning of employees;pay attention to the cultivation of excellent management,and effectively improve the level of leadership;establish a fair and reasonable salary and welfare system;strive to achieve human post matching and improve the independent space;create a positive and harmonious corporate culture.
