Entrepreneurs and scholars have been exploring effective ways toenhance staff performance to increase their competitiveness and achievethe purpose of sustainable development. In this process,"employeeengagement" holds their eyes; People find that employee engagementhas influences on key indicators of business performance, such asbusiness productivity, profitability, and customer loyalty and employeeretention. Therefore,“employee engagement” is the key factors leadingto the success of corporate development. As we all know,communication companies which are high-tech companies are relyingon the main force of human, the development of communicationindustry rely on the intellectual achievements and the minds ofemployees. Thus, employee engagement is important tocommunications corporate; but it is reported that employee engagementindex of the communications enterprises in China is even lower thansocial average level. Therefore, how to improve employee engagementhas become a problem to communications enterprise which needs to besolved. It is must be clear exactly what factors affect the employeeengagement of communications companies to improve employeeengagement of communication corporate, then we can solve theproblem effectively.On the basis of previous study, this paper analyzes the employeeengagement by “dichotomy”. According to the hierarchy of needstheory, the two-factor theory and equity theory, we divide employeeengagement factors into the four dimensions; they are the personal factors, job factors, organizational factors and external environmentalfactors. With questionnaires, we use empirical research methods toexplore the relationship between different factors and the overall levelof engagement and the engagement two dimensions; we get thededication of the degree of the employees of communicationscompanies in China. Finally, this paper gives some measures whichinclude the individual employees, job design, business organizations,and social environment to enhance employee engagement of China’scommunication enterprises.
