After experiencing a brief boom period, China's real estate market is beginning to undergo macro-control by the State, with adjustments to mortgage policies and strict control over speculative investments. Such interventions by the State signal an end to the real estate boom, and the market will gradually slow down into a stagnation. Nonetheless, competitions within the real estate market is becoming increasingly fierce as more governmental policies are put into place. Privately-owned real estate companies established under favorable policies in the past are now facing significant problems in management, where increasing staff mobility is accompanied by decreasing staff morale, leading to declines in profitability. As a result, the total expense of BC is caused to increase,and drives the profits down. The main subject of the current study, BC group, is one of such privately-owned real estate companies. After continuously experiencing vigorous development and expansion, staff mobility is now beginning to rise rapidly, while staff morale is at an all-time low. The fast decline in staff contribution, engagement, and commitment to the company are direct causes of low profitability and BC Group's current predicament, which effects the company's benefits declined. The company meets its management difficulty.This article presents studies on employee engagement within BC Group, in view of the aforementioned problems. Firstly, according to the authors designed a web-based employee engagement survey by considering the Gallup Q12 survey and evaluation methods, as well as contents of related questionnaires. This employee engagement survey was subsequently issued to employees within BC Group. Secondly, survey data thus collected are statistically analyzed and summarized in this article to determine problems and respective causes in employee engagement and commitment. Finally, recommendations are proposed to enhance employee engagement and commitment within BC Group. Such recommendations take into account current business development by the company, and provide a reference measure for improving and upgradingmanagement within the company.
