In the environment where technology promotes social development, the dependence of users on libraries is gradually weakening. In recent years,in order to attract users, many libraries have carried out space transformation and new construction. At the same time, the research of library space has attracted the attention of many scholars. The library space has shifted from the meaning of purely physical dimension to the interpretation of multiple spatial values.Under such a background,it is necessary to know clearly what the library space is and how to build it from the perspective of cognition.Based on the comparison and analysis of spatial connotation of multivariate library,we generalize the commonality of Library spatial interpretation. At the same time, the uniqueness of the library space is summarized from the functions of the library as required by the society and the cultural forms and subject knowledge systems formed in the development of the library itself.Based on this, the paper explains the connotation of library space. On the basis of the interpretation of the connotation of the library space, this paper introduce SECI model, the model of knowledge conversion in organizational management, into library space. Then the author constructs a library space framework based on the SECI model from two levels of macroscopic and microscopic. At the macro level,it is constructed from strategies, organization structure, and cultural systems. From the perspective of users’ knowledge needs,we build an embedded context around users’ knowledge construction to dynamically guide the formation of knowledge field. In the end, from the two aspects of human and micro situation, this paper analyzes the possible obstacles in the construction of Library spatial micro context by using SECI model, proposing corresponding safeguard measures.
