Digital File Information Security

Nowadays,owing to the rapid development of informatization,all industries are developing through using information technology actively or passively.Therefore,archives digitization is inevitable in the current trend of informatization.Compared with traditional paper archives or other forms of archives,digital archives that are not attached to carriers have novel characteristics.Archives digitization is an inevitable choice of the archive industry under double impacts of network and information age,and a necessary direction for future development of the whole industry.It is also a revolutionary change in the way the archives are managed and formed,which will greatly change the routine work of archivists,improve the efficiency of archives management,and help other industries manage archives handily.Although carrier innovation brings about a series of great changes,digital archives still belong to archives.The archival academia and industry should pay great attention to new security issues caused by differences between digital archives and traditional archives.According to the research status of digital archives in the new period,this thesis indicates the basic definition and characteristics of digital archives.Besides,it analyzes security impacts of digital archives by exploring such three aspects as inherent risk of facilities,malicious attacks of external environment and internal management system and internal control,and then it proposes relative countermeasures in terms of technology,management,industry standards,law,system construction,talent cultivation,external cooperation and so on.
