A Statistical Analysis Of User Access Behavior Of University Libraries Based On Web Logs

The library is the center of human knowledge information,in order to improve the rationality of library information service system,improve the utilization efficiency of library resources,the researchers in the field of Library and information gradually turned their attention to the research of user from resource and technology development.This paper aims to access behavior by analyzing library server log on Web network users of university library,according to the results of the analysis summed up the library service and the development of related issues and user access,proposes several possible reasons and propose solutions to improve the information service of the library of Heilongjiang University effective.The full text is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It introduces the background and significance of the research,the research trends at home and abroad,and so on.The second chapter is related to the theoretical basis,mainly introduces the Web log mining theory,the two methods of measurement analysis theory,library user information needs related theory,for the follow-up study of this paper lay the theoretical foundation.The third chapter is the research on user access logs,introduces Heilongjiang University library user behavior research background,expatiates on the steps of the log analysis method,and illustrates the Web log data preprocessing of the whole process.The fourth chapter is the analysis of user behavior measurement based on the access logs,do the.empirical analysis by the Heilongjiang University library as an example,analysis software AWStats and statistical analysis software SPSS to the library server Web log analysis statistical analysis and inference and the results using the Web log.The fifth chapter is related to the problems and reasons of the user access behavior of university library.According to the analysis results,this paper sums up the existing problems of the library website of Heilongjiang University,and analyzes the possible causes of these problems.The sixth chapter is the countermeasures to solve the problems related to access behavior of users,according to the analysis results of the fourth chapter,the fifth chapter according to the related problems and reasons,put forward corresponding countermeasures,in order to improve the information service of University Library effectively.The seventh chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the research work of this paper,points out the shortcomings of the research,and looks forward to the future research.
