Design And Implementation Of Video Surveillance System In Colleges And Universities

The new generation of video surveillance system plays an important role in the security field of all sectors of society. The establishment of video monitoring system on campus can prevent, control, reduce campus safety accidents and protect the faculty and students in school and keep school property safe. It also provides effective protection for the establishment of a good education environment.This article takes the design and implementation of the video surveillance system of Zhengzhou Industrial Applied Technology Institute as an example, and studies the development trend and key technology of the video system, and designs a video surveillance system. In this article, firstly, the video coding technology, data transmission protocol and high efficient data storage technology are studied to solve the problems such as video capture quality, network transmission speed, data storage speed and so on. On this basis, according to the analysis of actual needs of the school, it designed the overall model and program of the campus network video monitoring system, and designed in detail the various components of the monitoring system. In the established campus network, according to the system construction scheme, it uses the existing network to determine the equipment selection and the main module processing flow and design the database table structure. Finally, a network video surveillance management platform is constructed, and the function and performance test are carried out, and the results are analyzed and the optimization measures are proposed.
