In this paper, art education of museum refers that museums utilize their stadium resources, artwork resources, and human resources to carry out activities for arts education for children aged 3-6, including three main aspects of art appreciation, art creation and artworks display. This paper selects the activity of public education for children aged 3-6 as research subjects from N art gallery at an art college in eastern China coastal capital. Through observation and interviews, this paper describes the resources of N art Gallery to carry out activities of public education for children, and the necessity, possibility and the pursuit of value of holding these activities. It analyzes and summarizes the museum to the uniqueness of children's art education activities, including rich artistic education resources, low structured way to appreciate, process-oriented art creation and contextualized works display.Finally, through field observations and interviews on the part of parents, the researcher found that the value of arts education in the museum is not only reflected in the promotion of children's artistic accomplishment, to better promote a more comprehensive development of children. The researchers analyzed mainly from three angles:unique museum venues to help children form a correct concept of museum, improve children's literacy of visiting the museum and help children to develop the habit of museum; rich exhibition resource guide children to feel the diverse world of art and world of life; free environment and atmosphere to support children's imagination, mining exploration spirit, to stimulate children's understanding, and promote intellectual development of children.
