The 21st century is the era of economic globalization and information networking.The rapid development of China which requires people not only to learn to survive,learn to choose,but also to learn to develop,learn to think and learn to create.These requirements are based on the healthy development of people.Human health not only refers to the physical aspects,but also include psychological aspects,they interact with each other.Mental health not only has external performance,but also has inherent characteristics,its essence is good psychological quality.Psychological quality is the carrier of all the other kinds of qualities,which is the basis of improving the whole quality for a person.Therefore,the cultivation of psychological quality should be the basic engineering of quality education.Mental health is the pursuit of a high-level goal for psychological quality training,and also is the pursuit of the advanced realm of life development.Teenagers are the future of our country and the hope of the nation,that their age is the golden age of being educated and becoming a national pillar.Due to the particularity of the orphan schools and their students,we should pay more attention to their mental health.And they are in the stage of rapid changes in psychology,it is very easy to have some psychological problems because of the increasing pressure on learning,and the living environment is becoming increasingly complex.At present,there are relatively few surveys and studies on the quality of orphans’ mental health,and the research on the internal factors that cause poor mental health of orphans is not thorough and lacking.Therefore,to improve the orphan’s mental health,it is not only to consider external factors,but also to consider the orphans themselves,especially the psychological health problems.This research first adopts the Chinese adolescents’ mental health quality questionnaire to investigate the students of eight classes in both five and six grades of Guangming school in Liaoning province.It is written by dozens of domestic experts in related disciplines who are organized by Institute of psychology and behavior of Tianjin Normal University.The investigation make to understand the current situation of the mental health of the students in Grade five and grade six,and compare with the common students of the same age.Then,according to the measurement results,a typical sample was selected.The self-made questionnaires were used to study the self-psychological status of the samples,and the general situation of the orphan groups and their particularity were analyzed.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)light school grade five to six years in liaoning province poor students’psychological health condition overall.(2)light school grade five to six years in liaoning province in addition to the cognitive style and coping style,the girls’ scores were higher than boys.Adapt to the situation,power system and coping styles there are gender differences on the subscales.The concrete in order to adapt the situation,the table of power system component girls scored higher than boys,boys score higher than girls on the coping styles subscales.(3)light school grade five to six years in liaoning province except to adapt to the conditions and human qualities,other aspects are significantly higher than fifth grade students in grade 6.On the style of attribution subscales,significant grade differences,grade six students scored significantly higher than fifth grade students.(4)light school grade five to six years in the two groups of students in liaoning province,in addition to the power system and attribution style and other aspects of scoring the second group(>2 years students in school time)were higher than in the first group(2 years or less students in school time).On the adaptation and coping style subscales,significant difference in school time,a second group of orphan students(>2 years students in school time)score is significantly higher than the first group of students(2 years or less students in school time).(5)The students in grade five and six of Guangming school in Liaoning province have a relatively clear understanding of their academic self and emotional self.And there are large gender differences in the degree of their understanding of body self.In the aspect of social self,the level of awareness for the orphans is generally low,and also the self satisfaction.And the aspect of attitude control and regulation of the situation for them is better.In the emotional control of the situation is poor,can not be a good control of emotions.Their condition of emotional regulation is poor,and they can not be a good mood control.
