Purpose:The Objection is by researching the relativity between muscle tendon and muscular fasciae chain,enriching the modern understanding of muscle tendon theory.The research is based on the combination of subjective evaluate systems like Visual analog pain score method(VAS assessment),the Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Arthritis Index(WOMAC assessment)and Nottingham health survey and infrared thermal imaging system.Material and method:150 participants,same number in each gender,aging from 40 to 71 attended in this research.Every participant has been introduced to the status of this research and written permission has been collected from everyone.The participants are divided into two parts: the muscular fasciae chain group and the muscle tendon group.The therapy for the muscular fasciae chain group is based on western theory of muscular fasciae chain.According to the pathway of muscular fasciae chain and lines relative to knee massage therapy is applied on muscle and tendon which is on the lines and connected to the knee.The distribution of temperature under thermal-induced imagery on knees will be observed and collected before and after therapy.While the therapy for muscle tendon group is under the guidance of the theory of muscle tendon and therapy is applied according to the anatomy feature of muscle tendon point.The distribution of temperature under thermal-induced imagery on knees will be observed and collected again before and after therapy.The temperature changing on superficial observing point of lower limbs and knee in two groups will be compared by infrared thermal imaging figure quantificationally.Results:1.According to the comparison of before and after treatment,the temperature of muscle tendon point around knee in both groups is lower than that before the treatment(P<0.05).2.According to the difference in VAS assessment and WOMAC assessment after treatment,the joint function and the mobility of the knee have been improved in both groups after treatment(P<0.05).3.According to the observation of shell temperature point in both groups before and after treatment,the curative effect of muscle tendon group is better than the muscular fasciae chain group.4.The muscle tendon has certain relationship with the muscular fasciae chain in pathway,Anatomy and function.Conclusion:1.In knee osteoarthritis patients,abnormal infrared high temperature can be seen around the knee joint.2.The massage method with muscle tendon and myofascial chain massage both have preferable curative effect on knee osteoarthritis.3.The massage method with muscle tendon have better curative than myofascial chain massage in the effect of knee osteoarthritis.4.The patients with knee osteoarthritis,only local surface temperature decreased,as well as improved activity,pain levels decreased after treatment.
