| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the treatment of knee osteoarthritis by applying the needle knife combined with massage manipulation to release the pes anserinus tendon. Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 patients with knee osteoarthritis who met the criteria, from January 2019 to December 2019,were selected from the Department of Orthopaedics,Xiamen Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Those patients were divided into 30 case of test group and 30 cases of control group at random. The control group was treated by simple massage manipulation two times a week, four times in all.To be specific, the muscle groups such as the sartorius muscle, the semitendinosus muscle, the thin femoral muscle and the stop point area were relieved by massage manipulation. While the test group was treated with needle-knife combined with massage manipulation, with the same massage manipulation and frequency as the other one.And then apply needle-knife to the affected part on the pes anserinus tendon for once a week, two times in total. At last, all those report data including the general information of patients,VAS score,WOMAC score and clinical efficacy evaluation before and after treatment would be analysed and processed by SPSS 25.0 statistical software.Data that accord with normal distribution adopt t test, data that do not accord with normal distribution adopt rank sum test, data that belong to grade data adopt rank sum test, data that belong to count data adopt chi-square test to carry on statistical analysis.Results:1.Feasibility analysis: Statistical analysis of general information(gender, age, course of disease, side category,X-ray imaging grade),and VAS score and WOMAC score(pain, degree of ankylosis, daily activity performance, total score)of the two groups before treatment. Therefore the difference was not statistically significant(all P>0.05),indicating that the patients in the two groups were comparable.2.Comparison of VAS scores: After treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than before(all P<0.05).Apparently,the VAS scores of the two groups were significantly different after treatment(P<0.05).3.Comparison of WOMAC score: After treatment, the WOMAC score of the two groups was lower than before(all P<0.05).The WOMAC score of the two groups after treatment were compared from the aspects of pain, degree of ankylosis, daily activity performance and total score.Among them, the difference in pain, daily activity performance and total score was statistically significant(all P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the degree of ankylosis(P>0.05).4.Clinical efficacy evaluation comparison: the total effective rate of the test group was90.00%,and the total clinical effective rate of the control group was 76.67%.The comparison between the two groups showed that the efficacy of the test group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Needle knife combined with massage manipulation and simple massage manipulation to release the pes anserinus tendon can improve the symptoms of knee osteoarthritis patients. The effect of needle knife combined with massage manipulation torelease the pes anserinus tendon can relieve joint pain and daily activity performance of knee osteoarthritis patients,is better than that of simple massage manipulation, but for the improvement degree of ankylosis, the two effects are equivalent. |
