Purpose:To analyze the clinical effect of modified Xiaochaihu Decoction in treating slow transit constipation(intestinal qi stagnation type)and discuss its mechanism.Material and method:The study data were selected from January 2015 to June 2016 in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Liaoning Province Anorectal Hospital)was diagnosed as slow transit constipation(intestinal qi stagnation type),and meet the inclusion criteria outpatients,a total of 64 cases.According to the random number table method, the selected patients were randomly divided into treatment group(modified Xiaochaihu Decoction group)in 33 cases, the control group(Muxiang Binglang Wan group)in 31 cases. The treatment group was given modified Xiaochaihu Decoction, decocted in water,3 times a day,100ml/time;the control group was given Muxiang Binglang Wan,oral,3 times a day,1 bag/time.The two groups were treated with a course of 2 weeks, and the results were statistically analyzed after the course of treatment for 2 weeks. The anxiety and depression scores of the two groups before and after treatment, colonic transit test 72 hours marker excretion number, the total score of symptoms and clinical curative effect, security were observed.SPSS17.0 statistical software was used to analyze the clinical data and the results were analyzed and evaluated.Results:1.In the anxiety and depression scores, the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P <0.05),and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P <0.05).2.In the colony transport test 72 hours markers in the number of particles discharged, the two groups were significantly better than those before treatment(P <0.05),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P <0.05).3.In the total score of constipation symptoms, the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P < 0.05).4.The total effective rate was 83.33% in the treatment group and 73.33% in the control group, there was a difference in overall efficacy between the two groups(P <0.05).5.No significant adverse reactions and side effects were observed during the two groups, indicating that the two groups were safe in the drug. Conclusion:Modified Xiaochaihu Decoction treatment of slow transit constipation(intestinal qi stagnation type)inimproving the symptoms of anxiety and depression, increasing the number of particles emitted by the colon transport test 72 hours, reducing the total score of symptoms of constipation and clinical efficacy are better than Control group, safe and effective, worthy of clinical application and promotion.
