Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Wendan Decoction In The Treatment Of Slow Transit Constipation

Purpose:Modified Wendan decoction was used to treat slow transit constipation(Yang deficiency type),compared with lactulose oral solution,to observe the clinical efficacy and safety,to explore the mechanism of drug action,and to provide reference for clinical treatment.Material and method:A total of 60 patients with slow transit constipation(Yang deficiency)were randomly divided into observation group and control group,30 patients in each group.In the observation group,150 m L was orally administered once a day,twice a day in the morning and once in the evening.The control group was given lactulose oral solution twice a day,morning and evening,15 m L each time.Both groups were treated continuously for 3 weeks.The scores of constipation symptoms,colonic transit test were recorded before and after treatment,and the clinical efficacy and safety were evaluated,recurrence rates in both groups were analyzed.Results:1.The effective rate of the observation group was 93.3% better than that of the control group 76.7%,(p<0.05).2.The main symptom integral analysis showed that the main symptom integral of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment(p<0.01),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).The secondary symptom integral analysis and the control group integral showed no significant difference within the two groups(p>0.05),the therapeutic effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the Control Group(p<0.01).3.There was significant difference between the two groups(p<0.01)and no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).4.The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(p<0.01).5.No adverse reaction was found in both groups.Conclusion:1.Jiawei Wendan decoction can relieve the symptoms of constipation in patients with slow transit constipation(Yang deficiency type),improve the syndrome of Yang deficiency represented by sour waist,cold knees,long urination,white face and cold limbs,and enhance gastrointestinal peristalsis.2.Jiawei Wendan decoction has the advantages of low recurrence rate and high safety,and has a broad clinical prospect.
