Objective: To investigate the clinical efficac y and safety of Modified Zhizhu Decoction combined with Five-Animal Exercise in the treatment of slow transit constipation with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome. Methods: A total of 90 patients with slow transit constipation with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome were randomly divided int o the experimental group, the control group A and the control group B.The experimental group was treated with Modified Zhizhu decoction combined with Five-Animal Exercise, the control group A was treated with Modified Zhizhu decoction and the control group B was treated with prucalopride tablets for a period of 4weeks,of which 30 cases in each group. After treatment, the clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores, quality of life scores, colonic tr ansport function, and marker residue rates were compared. The Safety indicators were observed in each groups. And they were followed up for evaluating the recurrence rate in 3 months after the end of treatment. The efficacy of each groups were analyzed, the safety were observed and the stability were evaluated. Results: 1.There were no statistically significant differences in the terms of gender, age, course of disease,TCM syndrome scores before treatment, colonic transit function, marker residual rate and quality of life scores among the three groups of patients(P>0.05),and they were comparab le.2.At the end of the course of treatment, the effective rate of the experimental group was 9 3.33%,the effective rate of the control group A was 90.00%,and the e ffective rate of the control group B was 83.33%.The difference in efficacy among the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The total scores of the experimental group, whose the scores of the frequency in defecation, the scores of the difficulty in defecation and the scored of stool traits in the main symptom, and whose the scores of the abdominal distension, the scores of chest tightness, the scores of irritability and depression, and the scores of poor appetite in the secondary symptom were all lower than those in the two control groups(P<0.05).The defecation time in the main symptom and the scores of the fatigue of limbs in the secondary symptom in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group B(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of the three groups were lower than before(P<0.05).4.After treatment, the colonic transit function and the residual rate of markers in the three groups were statistically significant differences(P<0.05),and the residual rate of marker s in the experimental group was lower than those in the control group B(P<0.05).After treatment, the residual rate of markers in the three groups was significantly lower than before(P<0.05).5.The quality of life scores of the three groups after treatment were lower than before(P<0.05).After treatment, the quality of life score of the experimental group was significantly lower than those in the two control groups(P<0.05),and the control group A was lower than th ose in the control group B(P<0.05).6.There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate among the three groups(P>0.05).7.In the control group B,2cases had dizziness and 1 case had abdominal distension. They alleviated spontaneously without special treatment,no serious adverse re acted, and the treatment was not interrupted. Conclusion: Modified Zhizhu Decoction combined with Five-Animal Exercise has a definite clinical effect in the treatment of slow transit constipation with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome. It can significantly improve the TCM symptoms of the liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome. The safety index is high and it is worthy of clinical promotion. |
