Currently,the communication mode between the comprehensive logging instrument and control center is mostly through the cable.Furthermore,the sensor nodes are supplied by it.However,with the development of logging technology and the increasing of the sensor nodes,this mode has some drawbacks,such as the poor extensibility and the harder maintenance.What is worse is that it is hard to arrange the wire or cable.Existing wireless logging sensor system is expensive and unreliable.Therefore,the low-power and reliable wireless logging sensor system is urgently needed to be designed.Firstly,the key problems in the design of wireless logging sensor system are analyzed in this thesis.Based on the analysis and comparison of the current commonly used short-range wireless communication technology,the ZigBee wireless communication technology with the underlying protocol is adopted.By comparing three kinds of network topology,the tree network topology with easy extension and large network coverage is accepted to develop the logging sensor system in this thesis.Secondly,the wireless logging hardware system is designed,which is integrated,power saving and less peripheral devices.The CC2530 MCU with the ZigBee protocol stack is adopted to substitute the commonly used high power consuming wireless transmission module and to realize the data processing.The low-power electrical conductivity,density,winch,pump and analog sensor modules are designed,which have short response time and less signal preprocessing circuits.The power management module is designed with backup battery and magnetic latching relay for the reliability and sustainability of the wireless sensor network.Thirdly,according to the requirements of logging engineering,the communication protocol of wireless logging sensor network is established and the software of the coordinator and the routing nodes is developed in this thesis.With studying the Zig Bee protocol stack architecture and its specification,the CSMA/CA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance)and routing algorithm is simulated and optimized.Besides,the mechanism of Network joining,polling and data delivery is optimized.The software of low-power terminal nodes is developed.Then,the logging sensor system management software is designed,which can display the field data and control the terminal node through the serial port.The field data can also be sent to the server through the TCP/IP.Finally,the stability,the reliability and the power consumption of the wireless sensor system is tested and evaluated.The feasibility and practicality of the wireless logging sensor system is verified.The wireless logging sensor system designed in this thesis has great significance to promote the wireless of logging engineering.
