With the development of radar signal processing,signal processing system puts higher requirements on the DSP chip,such as high efficiency,high speed,low power consumption and so on.So TMS320C6678 had been widely used.The application of TMS320C6678 in radar signal processing system is studied in this dissertation and analyzed the advantages of the multi-core DSP chip at the same time.In addition,we list the resources of hardware and software in TMS320C6678,including chip interface resources,storage resources and inter-core communication and so on.Based on understanding of C6678,we can get the reasons why we choose the chip(TMS320C6678)in radar signal processing technology.Secondly,this dissertation describes the principle of the algorithm in radar signal processing system,including the pulse compression,moving target detection and constant false alarm rate(CFAR),and finally gives the corresponding Matlab simulation results.In addition,the radar signal processing system is based on the TMS320C6678 SYS/BIOS platform.In this paper,the composition of SYS/BIOS system,the method of constructing real time signal processing system and the applications of SYS/BIOS in this design are introduced in the same time.
