Abstract/Summary:
The powerful high-performance digital signal processor has been introduced to thisarea.It also has a wealth of high-speed memory, peripheral interface. While theincreasing of the communication speed and image processing algorithm complexity,as well as increasingly strict and fine, single processor core cannot meet theprocessing requirements of the speed in a lot of occasions, so the design of thereal-time requirements and the quality of signal processing multi-DSP high-speedparallel processing systems become increasingly urgent need for multi-coreDSP(Digital Signal Processor)-based processing system.According to actual need, the flexibility to configure the system in the prescribedmanner.The design of this project to the actual project application as the basis toconstruct a parallel processing system hardware platform is a part of the whole system.The Board used a standard6U size, through a dedicated connector to connect theboard. It is easy to build a systematic and effective interconnection and depthexpansion, which based on the high-speed serial interface (SRIO) interconnect.The logic chip XC5VLX110T with its own rich high-speed interface resources canimprove the depth scalability of the system. The design used a14-layer PCBlaminated structure subject of board design. The DSP and FPGA solutions wereequipped with high-speed external memory, DSP processor-based high-speed serialinterface (Hyperlink) interconnection between the DSP and FPGA.This Platform used DSP+FPGA to build a loosely coupled parallel processingsystem, which had a strongly reconfigurable ability; the choosed FPGA chips isXC5VLX110T,that has variety of high speed interface resource, and can interconnectwith many data interfaces, and it also easy to extend. This platform is a Multi-purposeimage processing system.
