In radar signal processing, software radio, image processing and real-time, high speed operation ability is very high, multi DSP parallel array is more widely used. Is the need to deal with the large amount of data, high bandwidth, high-speed real-time signal processing, the design of a multi core DSP array processing board is very necessary.The source of this topic is the unit since the research project "universal high speed real time signal processing system", the research purpose is to adapt to the large amount of data, high bandwidth, high speed real time signal processing applications, it is necessary to meet the currently radar, software radio, electronic surveillance against the algorithm validation requirements, design and development of with a VITA65-2010 standard of the general-purpose products, and the research achievements of this paper are used as a mature product application in high-speed real-time signal processing system of series products. As the unit of research since the "general high speed real time signal processing system of one person in charge, is mainly responsible for the tms320c6678 multicore DSP Array Processing Based on board of the R & D work, the completion of the multi-core DSP Array Processing Board of main components selection, scheme design, principle design, DSP low-level driver software design and algorithm verification work.This paper introduces the design and implementation of TMS320C6678 multi core DSP array processing board based on. Including the overall hardware design, the main function of the circuit design and so on. Detailed the array used in rapid IO, hyperlink, PCI express high speed interconnect bus interconnection, hardware design and software design process; the Internet each bus were more detailed introduction, also in the array processing board of the high-speed interconnection interface of performance testing, and test running results. Also based on array signal processing in the actual applications, with in-depth introduced multi-core DSP TM320C6678 electric self loading process, and gives two kinds of commonly used power self loading way: EMIF16 loading and sRIO loading of the implementation process and methods.In radar signal processing are deduced and analysis the fast Fourier transform algorithm, gives the multi-core DSP tms320c6678 multicore software implementation process, parallel algorithm is deployed to the array processing board of 8 core, 16 core and 32 core parallel computing, obtained the array processing board of the multi-core parallel processing ability.The processing board is designed for the practical needs of multi core DSP+FPGA architecture based on the array processing platform has 32 core with four multi co re DSP chip. The board has become my unit for high speed signal processing of a mature product, has been widely used in software radio system, algorithm verification and other fields of radar signal processing. The test results show that the platform has t he operation ability and practical processing is very strong.
