Research On Archive Service Socialization Of Dongguan

Archival information resources has obvious publicity,it’s the management object which can’t be ignored of Public Management.The opening degree and utilization level of the archival work are constantly improved which is influenced by the social trends,people are more and more concerned about the archival work,it has become an indispensable part of our social life.Giving full play to the role of archives,so that providing services to every aspect of society will become the central task of archives,it is also of great significance to the community.Archives service socialization can greatly broaden the service of the archives,so that the service objects are not only confined to the party and government organizations,but also more for the majority of citizens,social organizations,enterprises and so on,play a significant role in social life.This paper is focused on the archives service of Dongguan City,based on the New Public Service theory,through the questionnaire to obtain the public for the satisfaction of Dongguan City Archives service;through interviews with experts and archivists,understanding the real needs of the public for archival services.Combining with research and interview data,this paper analyzes the current situation and indicates that the archives service in Dongguan City has several questions,the main problems are : the archival collection is of unitary structure,so it is hard to satisfy the public;modern technology has not been widely used in archives work,and the electronization level of archives work is low;the practitioners of archive management are lack of service consciousness and service knowledge;the working mechanism between archives and other departments restricts the development of the archives service socialization;the development and utilization of livelihood archives work falls behind.Aiming at solving these problems,the paper puts forward five measures to promote the socialization of archives service in Dongguan City,including: stepping up efforts to collect archives to enrich the collection;using high-tech to improve the quality of service;Strengthening talent archival team construction;perfecting communication mechanism of archives service;developing socialized archives service organization to break through the centralized pattern in tradition.
