| In the report of the 19 th CPC National Congress,President Xi Jinping points out that,“the construction of educational powerful country is the fundamental project in the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation,and thus the position of education course must be prioritized.” The higher education course of China undertakes the historical responsibility of cultivating builders and successors featuring an all-round development in morality,intelligence,physique and art,and has to implement the Party’s educational policies to cultivate talents in all-round way.It is the essential task and educational core for universities to cultivate talents,and it is the fundamental goal and function for university libraries to serve the talents cultivation.Only when university library improves its effect of educating students,can it better serve the goal of cultivating talents.From the perspective of educating students,the thesis tends to study related theoretical issues,in terms of the importance of serving education,the system construction and safeguarding,as well as the factors that affects the effective performance of university library in educating students.It analyzes the traditional,closed,monotonous and passive education pattern of university library which is no longer suitable for demands of modern readers in learning,reading,and scientific research,because the current work of education service lacks modern concepts,open sharing,overall scheming and active service.Therefore,it is of great importance to explore a road for university library to serve the talent cultivation work under the current new situation.The thesis puts forward the approach of cultivating talents for university library.First of all,university library should innovate their concepts in terms of serving talents cultivation,which includes holding the key steps of the new concepts under the new situation,following up the moral purpose,serving the university’s ideology and work conditions,improving the harmonious cultural environment of serving education,and promoting college students’ capacity of independent learning;second,it should enhance the resource sharing degree of university library,and the concrete measures include strengthening the information construction of library resource,constructing knowledge management system under the new situation,and achieving the automatic service in an all-round way;then,it should pay attention to the overall scheming strategy of serving education,and the concrete measures include strengthening the service concept of library,improving the cooperation awareness among different departments,and taking advantage of the Internet to broaden the service scale;finally,it should improve the university library’s active service awareness of serving education,and the concrete measures include constructing the win-win cooperation system with other departments,improving the activity quality of reading propaganda of university library,promoting the professional level of innovative staff,and learning new methods of cultivating talents from oversea libraries.Through the above-mentioned four aspects,it tends to innovate the new road for university library in cultivating talents under the new situation. |
