The rapid development of mobile Internet,spawned a number of industry business myths as well as a number of reforms of other industry,the media industry is the first to bear the brunt of it,the death list even includes SUN、Nuremberg Evening News,Daily News,Newsweek,Reader’s Digest and so on,the reasons of these death are all out of a serious loss,the so-called “winter” about traditional media has been all the rage.As the lingered traditional media eager to alive,no matter proactive or passive,ready or not,they all have to embrace new media and carry out a comprehensive and deep level reform.Therefore,we have various theories of traditional media how to reform.Of all these theories,the key question is how to profit.At this paper,I will take the mobile client run by traditional media as my study subject,to explore the way to profitability.News client first appeared at Chinese market in 2010,which is a mobile service program support news and information service.To tradition media,run news client is a important and thoroughly way to refom.Compared with Wechat,Weibo and other third platform account,client is more autonomous and bigger commercial value.Based on that,this paper choose the CW client run by “Spring City Evening News” in Yun Nan area,take the dynamic model of expanding market in Virtual Society as study theory,to explore news client how to profit.The theory of dynamic model of expanding market in virtual society point out that the virtual society is a unique center of its member,the center combines content and communication,value the content created by members,choose the competitive advertisers at the same time,it belongs to the virtual society organizer who has the clear business motivation,the virtual society has four features : the unique center about members,combination of content and communication,highlight content created by memebers,competitive advertisers.By way of contrast,the platform of news client is a typical virtual society,it has the unique content appeal to members,combination of news and social function,attach huge importance to the content created by members(such as amazing reply or tip-off),various advertisers.But at the same time,the CW client is not a standard virtual society,it didn’t form the complete,mature cycle of power cycle,the reason of this is also the reason of unprofitable situation,so according to the theory,this paper came out with the specific measures of reconstitution the news client content and business,aim at promoting news clienet users,keep user stickiness,and ultimately continue to profitability.
