In 2015,traditional media news clients have emerged in large numbers.The report has shown that the number of traditional media news clients has reached 231.There are some famous traditional media news clients,such as Pengpai news client in Shanghai,Bingdu news client in Guangzhou,Fengmian news client in Chengdu,Wujie news client in Beijing,Jiupai news client in Wuhan.In the early development of the Internet,traditional media has suffered a setback.In this situation,it is imperative for our country to speed up the layout of the mobile terminal of the traditional media and promote the integration between the traditional media and new media.The development of mobile news clients is a effective way to promote the integration between the traditional media and mobile Internet.However,a pronounced gap still exists as compared with the earlier commercial news clients.From the perspective of new media products,this paper compares the traditional media news client with commercial news client,including their content product,social relations product and service product.Based on the contrastive analyses,this paper puts forward the optimization strategies for the products of traditional media news clients.The author selected a series of representative traditional media news clients and commercial news clients,including People's daily news client,Pengpai news client,Zhejiang news client,Tencent news client,Headlines and ZAKER.In this paper,comparing two types of news client's content products,relations products and service products,the author draws three conclusions:Firstly,in terms of the content products,traditional media news client has some problems,including the weakness in the ability of adaptation mobile reading scene and users' demands in different times,the lower levels of decentration.Therefore,the traditional media news clients should try to do the following three points.Firstly,the content products' mobile transition includes two aspects of content text and content form.Secondly,traditional media news clients should adjust the proportion of different types of news,so as to meet the needs of users in different periods of time.Thirdly,raditional media news clients should pay attention to the use of civilian language and provide users with a variety of contents.Secondly,in terms of the relations products,traditional media news client has some problems,including the the deficiency in channels and developments of the social relations product,the lack of the social relations in interest.To solve the above problems,the traditional media news clients should broaden channels for information sharing and discover social intercourse based on user interest.Thirdly,in terms of the service products,traditional media news client has some problems,including the lack of the profit models and the narrowness of the service product profit space.At present,the traditional media news clients only rely on multiple subsidies to maintain the high cost of operation.In this situation,traditional media news clients should associate the service product with other products and innovate the modes of realization.In addition,it is vital to cooperate with domestic famous e-commerce companies and APP developers.Content products,relations products and service products are the three most important products of mobile news clients.If traditional media news clients can optimize its products from the above three aspects,the future still has broad prospects.
