Research On The Construction Of The Library's Collection Of Network Born-digital Resources

The construction of the Library's collection of network born-digital resources has become a hotspot in the practice of libraries at home and abroad.Based on the discussing of the concept,types,characteristics of the network born-digital resources,and the significance of the construction of the Library's collection of network born-digital resources,this paper investigates the current situation of the construction of the Library's collection of network born-digital resources at home and abroad,and summarizes the experience of the construction of the Library's collection of network born-digital resources at home and abroad.Crowdsourcing model has been successfully applied in the commercial field,some domestic and foreign libraries have also introduced the model in practice,and achieved good results.It is not only necessary,but also feasible to introduce the crowdsourcing model into the construction of the Library's collection of network born-digital resources.The basic links of the construction of the Library's collection of network born-digital resources include planning,evaluation,selection,acquisition,organization,integration and long-term preservation.This paper describes the implementation of each link in detail,and discusses the application strategy of crowdsourcing model in planning,evaluation,selection,acquisition and organization.In order to arouse the enthusiasm of users,some measures are put forward:to take full account of the interests of the user to set the crowdsourcing task;to choose or develop a suitable crowdsourcing platform;the library actively do a good job of publicity and training users;the library should have the appropriate incentives to the user's crowdsourcing behavior.The construction of the Library's collection of network born-digital resources is facing many copyright problems.It is pointed out can be through the library establishment and enforcement of copyright management policies,and actively explore and use a variety of copyright authorization model and improve the national legislation to avoid the copyright risk.
