In the digital era,with the rapid development of information technology,the popularization and application of the Internet,computers,mobile phones and other digital devices,more and more personal born-digital information is generated by individuals themselves.The so-called personal born-digital information refers to the collection of such digital information,created by individuals in the process of social practice and existing in the form of digitization to manage and maintain it.Due to its uniqueness,originality and other characteristics,personal born-digital resources may completely disappear once damaged.In the face of this risk,the data creator should be responsible for the long-term preservation of such digital resources.Considering that the post-90 s and post-00 s are the generation growing up under the environment of the rapid development of information,a large amount of digital information will be generated in daily study and life.In view of this,this study selects college students as the research object to explore the current college students' cognition and willingness to long-term preservation of personal born-digital resources.To reveal the factors affecting the long-term preservation of college students' personal born-digital resources;Construct and verify the influencing factors model of the long-term preservation behavior of college students' personal born-digital resources.This study adopts the method of combining qualitative research and quantitative research.Qualitative research part,based on grounded theory,analying the original interview data of 13 postgraduate students with level 3 coding,extracting the 18 basic categories.forming learning-work orientation,daily life orientation,academic background,cognitive state,personal affective factors and personal habits,social relations,technology application,technology matching 9 main categories and four dimensions including situational orientation,individual factors,social factors and behavior media;integrating the relationship structure of main categories with the existing value-based adoption model,Triandis model and other theoretical research results,proposes the theoretical hypothesis of this study and constructs the initial conceptual model.In the part of quantitative research,the design of questionnaire is based on the basic categories in qualitative research as the observation variables of the scale,and the views mainly discussed in relevant literature research as the reference source of the measurement items of the scale.Statistical analysis was conducted on the collected data of 331 questionnaires,and AMOS 23.0 software was used to verify and modify the conceptual model constructed above by means of structural equation model.The research finds that :(1)In the final model,social environment and technology application have no significant influence on the long-term preservation of individual born-digital resources.The 7 influencing factors of learning-work orientation,daily life orientation,cognitive state,personal affective factors,personal habits,social relations and technology matching were retained.Among them,personal habits,social relations and technology matching are the direct influencing factors for the long-term preservation behavior of personal born-digital resources,and social relations also positively affect personal affective factors.(2)In the dimension of situational orientation,learning-work orientation and daily life orientation as exogenous variables positively affect cognitive state;In the dimension of individual factors,"cognitive state?personal affective factors?personal habits",the three factors have a positive regulating relationship,and these five factors as exogenous variables and mediating variables,have an indirect positive influence on the long-term preservation behavior of personal born-digital resources.
