Data acquisition system is a necessary part of the signal and information processing,which has been widely used in many occasions.The data acquisition system is introduced as an auxiliary equipment to underwater acoustic engineering and playing a more and more important role.With the rapid progress of underwater acoustic engineering,there is higher and higher requirement to data acquisition system.With the speeding up of ocean development steps and the more and more sea test opportunities,the sea tests need to spend a lot of manpower,material resources and financial resources,so the requirement of experiment equipment is becoming more and more strict.If the working conditions of acquisition device can be known before the start of the test work,some unnecessary loss can be avoided.Therefore,it is of great significance to construct a self-check function of multi-channel high speed data acquisition equipment system.Based on the requirement of multi-channel data acquisition,16 channel data acquisition system is designed in this paper.Signal generating circuit produces the needed signal,switching the signal by gating switch.The system will perform self-check when the signal is switched to the internal system.The system can be used to measure consistency of the circuit when the signal is switched to out circuit.Normal acquisition is achieved by gating switch connecting the external signal.Thesis mainly includes the scheme design of system,hardware platform construction,software writing and testing,etc.According to the function,the hardware platform can be divided into signal acquisition board,signal generating board,digital control board.Among them,signal generating board produces the self-check signal and the signal which is used for external circuit consistency detection.Data acquisition board is responsible for the transient 16 channel signal acquisition and momentarily stores the data into RAM.Digital control board controls circuit,in which Cyclone III series FPGA(EP3C16Q240C8)and DSP processor TMS320F28335 are chosen as main control chips according to the different features.Among them,the FPGA is mainly responsible for the control of signal acquisition,storage and transmission.DSP is mainly responsible for communication with the host computer to receive the upper machine instruction and parsing,controls the DDS to produce the needed signal,sends the instructions to the FPGA chip and receives data from the FPGA,and uploads the data to the host computer.Finally,the hardware circuit system is tested under the environment of laboratory and the function of the system and its performance are verified.The results show that 16 channel data acquisition system hardware platform works steadily and can meet the demand of system design.
