Diesel plays a very important role in the industry, agriculture, transportation, national defence and people's everyday life.Diesel is a typical multi-system, multi-level complex and reciprocating machinery. Through The diesel engine research can impel the development of fault diagnosis technology. According to the requirements o the Diesel analysis system, the data acquisition system is indispensable for the diagnosis of Diesel. Therefore, it's very necessary to develop a high-performance, and meet the monitoring signals about the data acquisition system. The data acquisition that meets the high-frequency, the large volume of data requirements is high-speed and multi-channel at the same time, flexible and low price high performance. This will not only adapt to the modern fight methods but also save the manpower, improve work efficiency, shoot for a valuable time for fighting.Based on the demand about maintenance and maintenance of diesel, Northeastern University Equipment Diagnosis Center and certain military area develop the project-Diesel Engine Fault Diagnosis. This paper is the subsystem-the Research of Portable High Speed and Multi-channel Data Acquisition System.At present, although the data acquisition equipments at home and abroad have made great progress which has been mainly behaved in the function, use, size and so on,the products which can fully meet these requirements and specific aren't found.Therefore,data acquirement system which can meet the demands needs be developed.In this thesis, a set of Portable High Speed and Multi-channel Data Acquisition System is discussed, which adopt the ATmaga128 of ATMEL, high-speed Analog-Digital convertor ADS7864 of TI, STC62WV1024 of STC and FT232BM of FTDI as the system's data processing and data transmission and logical control core.The ATmagal28 is the best performance in the 8-bit MCU.The ADS7864 has six analog input channels which can be sampled at the same time and the version time of each channel is 2μs.In order to consider the portable,not only in the chip selection should pay attention to the package,but also in the PCB borad layout cabling and other aspects must be suitable and compact.Other IC devices with digit interface also is adopted in it and so the system has not only very high data transmission rate, but also very commonality and flexibility.The work finished in this paper is as follows:System's hardware program has been designed, include analog circuit part,digital circuit part and other hardware circuit interface. The system schematic and PCB board have been designed. The software of system has been designed, include ATmega128's software, ADS7864's software and FT232BM's software.
