Design And Implementation Of ARGUS Monitoring System For Enterprise

With the increase of the business systems of various units,resulting in the increase in the number of hosts and aggravation of operation and maintenance tasks.It needs to rely on technology to find and solve the faults for system operations.At present,there are commercial monitoring systems of machines,disks and networks in an operation department,but lacking of real-time monitoring systems in business side of flexible configuration.Some exceptions of business side cannot be reached in time so that stability and usability of business side will be affected.It is so difficult to find various potential failures for traditional operational mode that demands nowadays cannot be needed any more and real-time log data analysis is gradually becoming an important demand for Internet companies and products.Real-time massive logging data calculation is used in applications such as real-time analysis of statistics,real-time recommendation,real-time risk control,real-time monitoring and personalized recommendation.Therefore,in order to ensure the business system running smoothly,early warning and prevention of the spread of faults in time,a set of perfect business monitoring system is needed to improve the efficiency and quality of business monitoring work,enabling the administrator to view the operation condition of the key systems at any time and receiving alerts of various kinds of abnormal events through email,short message or WeChat.The background,current status both domestic and international,and the objectives of this research are firstly introduced.Then the related technology is reviewed.It is followed by overall design,function module divisions and implementations of main modules in ARGUS system.After describing the implementation scheme of system function modules,the test processes and test results of the whole system are demonstrated.It can be seen in the result that ARGUS system can monitor the business effectively,find out the problem and then alarm timely.So ARGUS system can be helpful for related staff and has high practical value.
