Research On Lightning-proof System Of Power Network Communication System

Grid communications system is an important part of the power system,which plays an important role in the field of electric power communication.In the thunderstorm-prone season,when the lightning discharges the earth or the overhead lines,EMP could easily pass the power lines,signal lines or ground systems,through the connectors.The communications systemis irruptedby the EMP in the form of coupling,radiation and other forms,whichcould cause serious damage to the equipment.Therefore,aiming at the visual inspection and maintenance convenience of the protection state,this paper designs a set of lightning protection monitoring and management system.Firstly,on the basis of the research on the way of lightning invasion and the comprehensive protection of communication,lightning-proof equipmenton-line monitoringalgorithm,lightning environment monitoringalgorithm and grounding resistancemonitoring algorithm are analyzed.These algorithms are simple and effective.Equipmentisselected accordingly.Some disadvantages ofexisting lightning protection facilities such as badly targeted,poor protective effect and poor expansion are conquered.In addition,on the basis of theoretical research,a set of lightning protection monitoring and management system software aiming at the power communication system is designed and developed,which could be completed online monitoring,equipment installation management,lightning environment monitoring,automatic alarm,etc.B/S structure is used to realizethe remote monitoring and maintenance.Large databases are introduced to implement the information management of the lightning protection equipment.At last,an electricitysubstation which is easily stroked by lightning is selected as apilot.A series of advanced electric power special lightning protection equipment are introduced to solve the “three-no,three-difficulties”problem of power network communication system's lightning protection.Through the comparison of the installation of the site test,it is verified that the system can effectively improve the reliability of the lightning protection device.Also,the information and modernization of the management of the lightning protection system is realized.
