Monitoring the Cloud-flashes can provide predictable information reference toreduce the lightning disaster. And grounding is the most important thing on lightningdisaster reduction. To put the lightning discharge on the earth quickly and effectively,the most important thing is the lightning protection grounding. The grounding resistanceis the main index for the grounding performance characterization of grounding device.Measurement accuratly for grounding resistance value is the important means to judgethe grounding device. And it is the most important technical reference for reductinglightning disaster. Detection method should be advanced and reasonable when one isgoing to detect the grounding scientifictly, accuratly, objectively and truly. At the sametime, to reduce the measurement error is also required just because uncertainty thingexist in the measurement. On the other hand, to build the modernization, it is the samenecessary to standardize operations, further improve the work efficiency and design theapplication software.In order to improve the technology comprehensively for lightning protectiongrounding detection, specialized persons must be in the full understanding of grounding,grounding resistance and error theory. Through in-depth studying the various detectionmethods and management methods, and analyzing the detection of different industry,summarizing the different detection business operation process, it can improve thedetection technology. At the same time, it can be solved to reduce human error andhuman error scheme when it combining with the actual test, using the error theory andanalysising of all kinds of error. On the other hand, according to the experience of dailyinspection operation, it should be greatly reducing the work difficulty and artificialmanagement for testing datas. Through the software application, it provide effectivedata support for the study of lightning protection grounding.This thesis focuses on the application of detection methods, reducing the errorprocessing method and application software research in the lightning detection work.On one side, it analysis the3electrode straight-line method,3electrode triangle methodand clamp method for the grounding resistance measurement, summarizes the methods and processes for lightning detection. On the other hand, combining with the practicalexperience of the detailed, it analysis of the cause and mechanism for measurementerrors in measurement environment, measuring instruments, measuring operation andmeasurement method. It puts forward the method to reduce measurement errors too. Onthe other side, through the analysis of testing work demand, software design has beendone with the workflow of WF, Visual Basic6and SQL Server2008database. Finally,it cite an instance with the gymnasium of Guangzhou Asian Games Town to test andverify the research findings of the thesis.
