With recent advances in science and technology,information technology,especially computer technology has penetrated into people's production and life,industrial,medical and many other fields,and as an important part of data acquisition and processing technology,it is playing an increasingly irreplaceable role.Bus technology as a bridge connecting the data acquisition system and the computer system,its performance directly affects the storage and processing of the collected data,Therefore,improve the overall performance of bus technology is of great imperative.CPCI bus technology proposed to improve the deficiencies of the conventional bus technology(such as shock resistance,electrical properties and burst access mechanisms,etc.),indeed broke a bottleneck of data transmission,and become the mainstream of the current bus outputs due to its excellent performance.Compared with other bus technologies,CPCI bus technology based on the Compatibility with PCI bus,it has Hot-swappable,high scalability,high transmission speed and many other advantages,these make CPCI bus widely used in various fields of engineering,also known as a new generation of standards in industrial areas.In this paper,on the basis of in-depth study on CPCI bus,according to the actual needs of the project,we select special interface chip PCI9030 chip produced by PLX to finish the bridge interface,design the data acquisition card based on CPCI bus,write ARM data collection procedures,board drivers and upper interface applications under VxWorks.And the system include two parts,these are hardware design and software drivers.Hardware board collects datas and stores them in accordance with software commands,and the software is to drive the hardware board to manage the collected datas.After repeated testing,the board is to achieve the expected objective: 8-channel A/D conversion interface module,8 inputs and 8 outputs interface module and 4 CAN bus interface module can store the received datas in the dual-port RAM respectively,through way of combining the flag bits with the PCI interrupt,notify the industrial personal computer which runs the VxWorks operating system to read the real-time collected datas and then display them.
