Media convergence has become one of the main factors in the development of media system as a popular research object in the field of news communication.Media convergence in some developing countries is a part of state-level policies.Uzbekistan,as one of the fastest developing countries in the world,has also achieved certain success in media convergence.This article is devoted to the analysis of Uzbekistan media convergence.In order to view the clearer picture of media convergence,this paper first analyzes the domestic and foreign scholars' different understandings on the media convergence.Then introduced the Soviet background of Uzbekistan media convergence.Using cases of media convergence on different media,paper analyzed present situation of the Uzbekistan media convergence,what are the benefits of media convergence to Uzbekistan media and audiences,what factors are hindering the media convergence in media companies.In the last chapter,this paper presents some suggestions on how to overcome the problems that hinders the convergence of media and how to promote media convergence.The recommendations are not limited on the media area,but relate to all areas media convergence affects.The recommendations presented in this paper are based on the measures being taken by the government,the various departments concerned and the media,and how to proceed to the next step.At the same time,some of the recommendations to borrow foreign experience will probably inspire the domestic media companies.While the recommendations presented in this paper address the development of media convergence within the domestic media system,these recommendations can also serve as reference for other countries.
