As the development of today's communication and electronic technologies,the modern military communication systems gradually tend to digitization,intelligentize and networking.The VHF radio with high efficiency of anti-interference and information security,already become important communication devices in military systems,and have great values to develop and study.Thus higher controllability and more humanization designs are needed.According to the requirements of handheld VHF radio,a universal human-machine interaction control system is designed based on FPGA.Compared to the traditional man-machine interaction,this kind of human-machine interaction system,which has characteristics of good-looking,ease-of-use and humanization,provides intuitive and friendly man-machine interfaces,and remarkably improves users'operational experience,as well as the interactivity between human and the system.This paper introduces the requirements VHF radio should fulfill first,on whose results,system design,detailed design and final implements are finished.The entire work is divided into two parts:The first one is hardware design,schematic and PCB design,as well as board making.Another part,software implements,is coding with VHDL language and completing 4 modules.First of all,on the requirements of VHF radio,the main interface and subinterfaces are designed and programed,on which not only digits and Chinese characters,but also graphs are displayed to make the interfaces look better.Secondly,software of control systems for one menu of the user interface is programed,consisted of dynamic inputting of parameters,cursor moving and saving settings after user confirmation,furthermore,it can be debugged with COM tools through serial ports.Third,the display of information output is controlled by keyboard input.Last,the key pressing operation is detected by keyboard scanning.And finally,design goals are achieved after tests.
