Optimization Research On Schedule Control Of MAM Project

With the rapid development of digitization process on media agencies,digital video and audio resources have become a valuable media assets.Construction of practical Media Asset Management(abbreviated as MAM)system is a strategic step of improving the technical level and carrying out a variety of business.However,MAM system consists of a lot of modules,has complex logic and frequent interaction with other systems,the schedule control directly affect the reputation and benefits of the project.Therefore,how to improve schedule control management level of MAM system is a to-be solved problem.Actually,before the development of MAM system,even if the schedule has been carefully prepared to assess the expected duration,but some unexpected problems will still happened.some in the real development process will still have unexpected problems,On the ground of consulting large quantity of documents and doing lot of practice research,in this thesis,writer design the optimization model of media project schedule control.The core of the model is that the development task is established with the WBS activities so that the completion of the development task can be updated to the actual progress of WBS activities immediately,strengthen the communication between R&D staff and the project manager.Some threshold rules also can be designed to fineschedule the progress alarm,which reduces the problem of critical path change caused by the non-critical path activity delay.Finally,Writer chooses a MAM system project as an example,applies the schedule management tool to the whole stages of MAM system development,and achieves good results.At last,the MAM system project launched in the scheduled date,and the project gaining a good reputation proves that the research on coordination of quality control and schedule control has good practicability.
