In recent years,talent shows has raised public concerns within its distinctive nature.Less deliberately controlled content of shows,relatively transparent process of idol selection,high level of audience engagement,have made talent shows a crucial channel for idols cultivation.However,various problems has occurred when different talent shows have the content bearing different quality,with the phenomena of plagiarism and vulgar more widely emerged in entertainment industry.At the mean time,the promotion of idol's culture through social media has led the cultural value behind talent shows highly intensified and deeply impacted TV shows audience especially youngsters,as this targeted group is more likely to share the similar cultural beliefs with what is promoted by talent shows and more easily to resonate with that.This analysis will mainly focus on conducting research on cultural value and its significance promoted by talent shows based on specialized analysis of real cases,with the purpose to answer the questions such as how to improve the quality of talent shows content,how to establish the positive personal images of talent shows idols and how to correctly recognize the cultural values behind talent shows.The analysis also aims at enhancing the quality of talent shows' content as well as rationally evaluating the possible consequences of idol culture when it affects public,thus assist talent shows audience especially youngsters in finding a proper way to absorb nutrition from idol culture.This analysis will treat the value orientation promoted by idol culture in talent shows as the study object,thoroughly conducting case analysis regarding the distinctive features,types and styles of various Chinese talent shows,applied with theories in fields such as social media,communication and sociology to analyze the creation,process and result of the value orientation promoted by idol culture and its linguistic,expressional,demeanor and behavioral impacts on targeted audience ?youngsters.The analysis will be centered around the discussion of how to appropriately guide the value orientation promoted by idol culture towards youngsters.Based.on sufficient case analysis,the 2nd part and the 3rd part will separately evaluate and explain the idol culture promotion through talent shows and the idol cultural value promotion through talent shows,systemically illustrating the nature of TV shows,creation and effects of idol culture in talent shows,different distribution channels of idol culture among youngsters,comparison between talent shows with content bearing different qualities,value orientation created through idol culture promotion and how it impacts audience personal values and social norms,etc.Combining sociological and social media theories and real cases,the analysis will exhaustively evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of nowadays idol culture promotion and cultural value creation,as well as future opportunities and threats in talent shows production,giving valuable professional suggestions for educating and guiding youngsters to properly recognize,understand and absorb essence of idol culture through talent shows.
