Study On VR News User Experience Of Xinhua News Agency Client And Optimization Strategy

With the development of VR technology and the reduction of hardware cost,VR technology has been gradually entered into all walks of life.The combination of VR technology and news,generates virtual reality news.Many of domestic media try to carry out VR news.Xinhua News Agency client as one of the earliest news client to start VR news report,has a year of practical experience.It has its own characteristics and research value.This paper adopts the questionnaire survey,content analysis,statistical analysis and other research methods.Using Garrett's user experience analysis framework to analyze VR news user experience of Xinhua News Agency client and summarize the optimization strategy of VR news user experience.The writer hope this paper can offer some constructive suggestions and reference to Xinhua News Agency client and other news client,helping with the development of domestic VR news.By means of analyzing the VR news of Xinhua News Agency client in 2016 and questionnaire data of user experience,we find there are many factors can influence the VR news user experience of Xinhua News Agency client.These factors include interaction design,information architecture,UI design,information design,perception design,etc.After analysis,we found the VR news user experience of Xinhua News Agency client still exist many shortcomings.This paper specially put forward the corresponding optimization strategies and suggestions about these problems of VR news user experience in Xinhua News Agency client.
