In recent years,having been replaced by the new idea of “paying equal attention to construction and maintenance”,the well-worn thinking which values construction over maintenance in the field of bridge of our country started to collapse.Therefore,highway management departments began to transfer their work focus from bridge construction to bridge maintenance and management.In 2015,with the formulation of “State Council on actively promoting the Internet+ guidance action”,the “Internet +” highway maintenance management platform research project of some highway administration was opened in November the same year.As a part of this project,the system studied in this paper needs to design and implement a bridge management system with the functions of bridge data management,bridge assessment and report output,etc.Through this kind of system,some highway administration can strengthen the process of intelligent monitor,standard maintenance and can improve its management ability so as to realize the sustainable development of bridges.Firstly,this paper confirmed the six function modules according to requirement analysis of the system,including basic data management,bridge management,culvert management,maintenance management,report management and system management.Secondly,finishing the detailed designs of each function module by using the methods of flow chart and example analysis,etc.Among which,the system management module realized system access control through the application of RBAC model;the maintenance management module implemented the intelligent supervision of the maintenance process;the report management module provided a variety of report output and print function for users.And then the paper studied comprehensive evaluating algorithm and multi-level evaluating algorithm of bridge,including the principles and characteristics of each algorithm,etc.Finally,completing the software implementation of the bridge management system by combining system framework design,system function design and system database design.Integrated development of the ExtJS-SSH framework was adopted in this kind of system.Because of its rich components and niceappearance,ExtJS framework was responsible for achieving a handsome and gorgeous page effect of the bridge management system.SSH framework divided the system logically into presentation layer,persistent layer and business layer,which can effectively reduce coupling of the system so as to improve development efficiency.In addition,in the system testing phase,according to the characteristics of B/S architecture system,testing focuses were put on system compatibility,system upgrade,etc.And then the functions and performance of the system were further verified.So far,the whole process of bridge management system which is from design,study,implementation to testing was finished.The laboratory test results of this system showed that each function module of this system was of correct business logic,good compatibility,simple upgrade operation.Moreover,the running results of this system indicated that it worked stably and can meet users' demand,which also meant that it achieved expected results and had certain practical value.
