MES Project Design And Implementation For Z Company's Optical Fiber Cable Work-shop

In recent years,the project managemnent approach is adopted to manage the projects of MES system construction in China.Even a lot of projects have successful experiences.Due to the lack of systematical and effective project management methods,most of them have serious problems such as over budget or schedule delay.This dissertation studies the MES project implementation of Z Company's optical fiber cable work-shop to explore the MES design and implementation of process-based manufacturing companies.Combined with the characteristics of the company's production from the view point of the practical problems,this dissertation performs the feasibility study of the project.It sets out the project requirements to realize digitalized production and management.It designs the MES system based on those requirements by describing all function modules in details.The project implementation follows the project management process by building the project organization?setting up WBS? plus making the project plan,quality control plan and budget control.This paper also analyses risk management and contrl of the project.Results of this paper will be a good reference to the design and implementation of manufacturing enterprises MES for other companies.
